GetaGame.org is a project that has been created with the sole purpose of strengthening grass roots football and enable football loving athletes to find and locate new teams, be it in your surrounding area or anywhere in the world. The goal of the site was to create a worldwide database of football teams and provide location information as well as contact details.
The site can be used to find new teams for those relocating, attracting new players, organisation of pre-season tours. The site was built with drupal and uses custom content types, custom node templates and views to build the main site functionality. This site also uses a special JQuery enabled theme for its mobile site. This gives the site a more accessible app like appearance when accessed by a number of mobile browsers.
